I woke up at 4 a.m. feeling really psyched to be alive, and couldn’t go back to sleep, and didn’t know what to do with myself, so I packed up a GoPro, rock shoes and chalk bag and headed out to Tahquitz Peak.
I took this post down for a few days while I considered some things, but I’ve concluded that I’ll just keep it up, and I’ll keep them coming, because I want to share the things I love. It’s a shaky video, and there is some serious sun, but the music is nice, and the view exceptional.
It’s easy ground, but it’s exposed, and on many days when plans fall through or I can’t find a climbing partner it sure is nice to be able to solo on moderate terrain, like I did on Friday, and cover a few thousand feet of ground within hours.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the music and the view as much as I did. I wish that I could add a feature that would allow for you to experience the fluid movement that this amazing climb offers. Truly a classic line that ends on a real summit.
If you find yourself in Southern California between Spring and Fall, get in contact with me and we’ll go climbing here. It’s worth every minute.
